Data developed its Food Distribution Application to deal with the unique
aspects of this market. Food items sold to groceries and the food service
sector are most often delivered by the distributor to preset routes of
customers. It also involves the sale of random weight items such as meats
and cheeses which are ordered by the unit and sold by the pound and the
creation of suggested retail price lists and shelf labels for the grocer.
The software is a superset of the AddonSoftware for Distribution. The software
accommodates:
