Service Contracts

Daniel Data provides hardware service contracts to meet a variety of needs. We have maintenance programs that cover just one piece of equipment or we can service your whole office on a regular basis. Our clients know which pieces of equipment are critical for day-to-day work or are subject to environmental conditions which require regular maintenance. As a result, each Service Contract is tailored to the client's need for frequency of cleaning, equipment to be maintained and level of service coverage.
Hardware Service Contracts
Full service maintenance contracts include all parts, labor, travel and periodic preventive maintenance. The client is assured of a fixed cost of maintenance throughout the life of the equipment.
Preventive maintenance contracts include periodic cleaning and servicing. The covered equipment is maintained so as to insure optimum performance, and the customer retains responsibility for the cost of parts and repair labor.
Manufacturer extended warranty contracts are available for many printer and computer products. These full-service contracts are backed by the equipment manufacturer. Ask a Daniel Data representative about such contracts.
Preventive and full service contracts are available for printers, workstations, servers, terminals and other peripheral equipment.
Workstation Support Contracts
Computers need regular maintenance and, at times, repair. Even when we think we’ve taken the best precautions, computers and networks crash or become prey to viruses, SPAM and spyware. Proper maintenance reduces down time and increases productivity through improved system performance. Daniel Data's Workstation Support Agreement is a maintenance service that finally makes sense. If a virtual private network connection is available then much of this support can be provided via Remote Access.
- Fix errors caused by viruses, trackware, spyware, malware, etc. and remove offending items
- Maintain user access to the local area network, Internet, printers and other network devices
- Assist with workstation configuration as required
- Data backup and file restoration
- Trouble shooting and problem analysis of workstation issues
- Client training, up to 15 minutes per incident, in dealing with specific problems that are encountered
